English Ivy Farms is a sport horse program focused on precision care, correct development, and long-term performance.
Each horse is managed as an individual athlete within a structured system designed to support soundness, rideability, and progression.
Care
Customized feeding programs using Tucker Millings feeds (Monesin free facility)
High-quality forages : Orchard/Alfalfa hay, beet pulp, and targeted supplementation
Individual daily management and monitoring with full staff living on-site
Daily hoof picks, mane pulling, basic clipping and bathing provided
Streamlined and convenient experience with Full Grooming options available
Variety of equine body work and recovery tools upon request
Stabling & Facilities
12x12 ventilated stalls with Dutch windows, interlocking mats, and deep bedding
Twice-daily stall care
RAMM Flex-rail turnout fencing and managed pasture rotation
Four-bay wash rack with hot and cold water
Fully lit arena with all-weather footing
Covered viewing porch and climate-controlled rider spaces
Training Requirement
Boarders are required to enroll in a lesson package.
Showing is encouraged through a full calendar of schooling and rated competition.

HORSE DEVELOPMENT
Professional training is designed for correctness, consistency, and long-term athletic development.
Programs include:
Competitive enhancement
Performance maintenance
Young horse development
Re-schooling and refinement
Limited starting and restart work
Each program is tailored to the horse, not the system.
Offered together with lessons or as a stand alone service.
ACADEMY RIDER DEVELOPMENT
Rider education is structured, progressive, and built around correct fundamentals.
Instruction focuses on position, communication, and clarity under saddle.
Private and semi-private instruction
Horsemanship integrated into all sessions
Rated and local competitive pathways
Virtual coaching available
Standard turnout required:
ASTM-approved helmet
Proper riding boots
Traditional riding attire
We develop riders for long-term correctness in the sport.
Due to limited availability of Academy horses, all Academy riders must commit to horse ownership/lease after 6 months in our program.
EIF Show Team
A competitive pathway for riders committed to athletic excellence. Our riders have participated in USEF National Finals, won local Equitation Medals, accepted to EAP Regional programs, signed to collegiate NCEA and IHSA riding teams, as well as won local and regional year end awards.
Riders commit to a structured system of leasing and ownership to be competitive on the GHJA and USEF circuits.
