About English Ivy Farms

At English Ivy Farms, we believe that true horsemanship exists at the intersection of art and athleticism.

Grounded in the principles of the American Forward Riding System, our program emphasizes a balanced, non-interfering position: allowing horses to move freely, correctly, and with strength. Through thoughtful, systematic training, we develop horses that are properly muscled, mentally relaxed, and able to perform with consistency and confidence.

We take a deliberate approach to training, prioritizing patience over shortcuts and education over urgency. Horses and riders are never rushed or overfaced. Instead, they are guided through a process that builds lasting understanding, trust, and partnership.

The result is a level of connection that extends beyond the show ring - equipping riders to confidently develop young horses, refine experienced ones, and ride with effectiveness across a variety of disciplines.

Our success is reflected not only in results, but in the physical and mental improvement of every horse in our care.

We are equally committed to integrity within the sport. English Ivy Farms operates in alignment with USEF medication guidelines and maintains a strict stance against the use of performance-altering substances for competitive gain.

Because a win is only meaningful when it is earned the right way.
