OUR PHILOSOPHY
At EIF, we believe that correct riding requires a delicate balance of the subtle art of connection with the athletic demands of a sport. Employing the concepts of the American Forward Riding System, we teach a non-interfering position to our riders and create properly muscled, stabilized horses in our charge. We value a kind and systematic approach to learning that does not fast track or over face students and horses.
As a result, we produce cooperation and partnership between horse and rider that can be carried into the show ring, applied to green mounts, or incorporated into the re-schooling of the aged horse. Our success is proven by the fact that every horse in our care has vastly improved physically and mentally. We also promote a riding environment that follows the USEF guidelines for medications and condemn the use of performance altering substances, particularly as a means to ribbons. We believe a win is only as great as the integrity behind it. |
