LESSONS
Lessons with an EIF professional are required for all boarders.
Students in need of a mount are matched with one of our schooling horses based upon riding ability.
Lessons are given Tues through Sat in private or semi-private lessons. All students must participate in weekly lessons (minimum of four per month) paid for at the beginning of the month. All cancellations must have 24 hours advanced notice or the lesson may be forfeited. All make-up lessons must be held within two weeks of cancellations.

We offer discounted lesson packages for riders taking 8 lessons a month or for boarders enrolling their horses in full or partial training in addition to 4 lessons a month.
**Please note, all first time riders are required to have private lessons until their skills allow them to join semi-private ones. We also teach the fundamentals of horse ownership by including grooming, feeds and feeding, barn maintenance, etc as part of our new rider program.
We also request that students remove jewelry prior to the lesson: no rings, dangle earrings, bracelets, etc; "unusual" piercings may also be requested for removal.
Required equipment:
Long pants-either jeans or riding pants
Hard soled shoes with a heel; must cover ankle.
Riding helmets*; bike helmets are not suitable substitutes.
*we have a few helmets available for use but recommend your own to ensure proper fit.
